PLOK?

Today's post delivered a SNES game called PLOK.  What a strange name.  The game is about the Character  Plok who lives in the land of Akrillic.  He must find all his flags that have been stolen by the evil fleas.  Yes fleas, he must be very itchy.

 

OK I think this is a very strange name so lets find out if there are any stranger game names out there.  Please feel free to post comments of the strangest game names you have seen.

Novembers Orders

Hi Guys,

Today I received a couple of games that I ordered back in November.  The first one is Yoshi's Cookie, a SNES game that was only released on this console in Japan and the USA.  It is a puzzle game where you have to match 4 of the same cookie to make them POP!  The other is Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butōden.  I'm a huge Draagonball fan.  Love the series and all the games.  This game carries on the Butōden Series, It gives you a fast paced 3D fighter on the DS system.  It was never released outside of Japan.   Both games are in immaculate condition.

 

Now I have to display my disgust at an Ebay seller, who shall remain nameless.  I ordered Megaman 6 for the NES,  It said and I quote "Mega Man 6 (Nintendo, NES) Game + Manual + Box + Sleeve + Styrofoam Piece".  This is what I got.

 

No Box, No sleeve.  Just the cart and book.  So I emailed him and he said I didn't ask for a sleeve and it didn't come with a box.  So I asked the question why advertise it with box?  Still no reply.  So the moral of this story is be careful when ordering overseas.

 

I shall now shout out to all my readers.  Can anyone help me to get the box for this game.  I will happily pay for it if it is a reasonable price.  I will also be sincerely grateful.

Wait Two Were Missed

I don't know how I missed these.  It's not like they're easy to forget about.  Forget what I hear? Well not only Goemon Mononoke Sugoroku for the N64 and Gears Of War 3 Figure  (One of the Best Video Games Ever Created) of  Anya Stroud.

 

Also to my surprise we actually had post today and in that post I received a Game Cube Game I ordered from Canada, Naruto Clash Of Ninja the first in the series.  Most people don't realise that the first Naruto Clash Of Ninja released in Europe was actually the second one in the series.

Just a quick review on Kid Icarus Uprising.  I've done the first 3 levels and so far I am very impressed.  The graphics are outstanding and the game play is great.  The controls will take some time to get used to though.  I tried it with the Circle Pad Pro and it just made it harder.  The Extra control stick does the same as the one on the 3DS.  They should of made it so you could control the movement of Pit with the left stick and aim cursor with the right one.
The boss battles are epic, two headed dog and fight a three headed serpent while flying, what else could anyone ask for.   Here are some screen shots.

The Beginning

Hi Everyone and Merry Christmas,

My name is Chad and today i am starting my very first blog.  This blog will be mostly about my Nintendo video game collection.  I collect mostly Nintendo games but I do own an Xbox 360 for some more brutal fun online and the occasional PSP game.  My collection is quite a large one and before anyone asks - no I haven't played them all but from starting this blog I vow to play and write about all of them, it will not be an easy task but I will persevere and try my best.

I'm a massive Nintendo fan and think they are a highly under rated games company.  They have a lot of great games if your willing to give them ago.  I play all types of games apart from simulation racing.  I'm more into racing games where you can attack the other drivers like Mario Kart, Wipe Out and Extreme-G.

I'm not out to collect every game for certain  consoles, just the ones I'm interested in and follow on from each other.  So if that means it was only released in another country I will try to get it.

So I will start with my games I got for Christmas:

The SNES has a widened flap to allow for the big American carts.  there are also two switches on the back that allow you to change the Hz From 50 to 60 and one that turns off the region lock out chip.  It works like a dream.

 

So which game shall I start with?  I think I'll start with Kid Icarus, I've been wanting this for a very long time.
